Transition Support
If you've faced additional barriers on your journey to university, you may be eligible for tailored support and opportunities designed to help you settle in, connect with your student community, and make the most of your time at Liverpool.
The Outreach Team provide transition support to help you start your time at the University smoothly.
Working with us, we will provide opportunities for you to meet other students and build relationships with different teams across the University who are key to your success.
We will help you to make the most out of your University experience, by supporting you to explore the skills and learning enhancement opportunities that are on offer through 'Liverpool Advantage'.
You'll have access to 1-1 support, regular communications, a WhatsApp Community, and dedicated points of contact within the Outreach Team, who can signpost you in the right direction whatever your question.
Transition support activities have included:
- Transition Webinars, running between A-Level Results Day and Welcome Week, to help you get prepared for joining the University #TeamLivUni
- 'Discover', an exclusive early welcome event for widening participation students, taking place before the official start of Welcome Week
- Global Opportunities workshops, highlighting study abroad opportunities and funding for widening participation students, ahead of the University-wide 'GO Week'
- Social activities, including wellbeing activities.
