Transition Support
Get extra support to help you make the transition to university and get started at Liverpool. If you’ve faced additional barriers getting to university, you can access tailored support and opportunities to help you settle in, meet other students and make the most of your time at Liverpool.
What can I access?
Transition support includes:
- One-to-one support and dedicated contacts in the Outreach Team, who can help with questions and point you in the right direction.
- Regular updates and a WhatsApp Community, helping you stay connected and find out about relevant support and opportunities.
- Transition webinars between A-level Results Day and Welcome Week, helping you prepare for starting at Liverpool.
- 'Discover', an early welcome event for widening participation students before the start of Welcome Week.
- Global Opportunities workshops, where you can find out about studying abroad and funding available for widening participation students.
- Social and wellbeing activities, giving you more opportunities to meet other students and feel part of the Liverpool community.
We’ll also help you explore opportunities through Liverpool Advantage, so you can build your skills, grow in confidence and get more from your time at Liverpool.
