Personal Statement
Since the last two decades, I have been practicing as a psychiatrist and a global health academic.
I graduated in medicine from Pakistan, completed my Fellowship and Specialization in Psychiatry from the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Pakistan in 2004.
I also did my Doctorate from the University of Manchester, UK in 2009.
At Liverpool, I have dual roles;
i) Research Fellow in Global Mental Health at the Dept of Primary Care & Mental Health, University of Liverpool, UK
ii) Senior Clinical Lecturer at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, UK
