About

Personal Statement

I am a Social Anthropologist working at the intersection of domestic energy practices, air pollution, and health in the Global South, specifically in Kenya. I am interested in the social, cultural and political-economic implications of accessing domestic energy for cooking, lighting, and heating houses and in investigating how clean energy transitions and related interventions are received and incorporated into the daily lives of end-users.
