Miss Rachel White

About

The Placement Office’s role within the School of Allied Health Professions & Nursing is to help allocate students to placements within NHS Trusts and Private, Independent & Voluntary Organisations (PIVOs) across the UK - primarily in the North West and the Republic of Ireland - and also help set up and monitor the e-portfolios and evaluations attached to each placement. The Office is the point of contact for the mentors, Practice Education Facilitators (PEFs) and supervisors who are training our students out on placement.

Rachel has specific responsibility in the School for:
• Management of PSS Staff in the Placement Office
• Administration of placements for the Nursing programmes
• Lead for the InPlace allocation and audit systems
• Lead for the Online PARE E-Portfolio
• Administrative lead for the Elective Placements
• Point of contact for the Student Data Collection Tool (SDCT)

Rachel is a member of the Practice Placement Working Group.
Outside of the School, Rachel is a member of the Cheshire & Merseyside (C&M) Joint HEI InPlace Admin and Operational groups, the C&M PARE Working Group, and the Northwest InPlace Group.
