Personal Statement

I am an experienced leader within higher education. I am also a Health and Care Professions Council (UK) registered occupational therapist with a background in health and social care, and education. I currently utilise my skills, knowledge and experiences as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing, at the University of Liverpool. I am passionate about providing high quality education. I have worked in higher education for twenty years, and have a broad portfolio of learning and teaching, of the management and leadership of programme development and delivery. I am also an experienced external examiner programme and programme accreditor within occupational therapy education, and an advanced practice programme accreditor for Health Education England. I am research active and am committed to lifelong learning.
