Doctoral Academic Teacher Psychology

About

Personal Statement

I am a part-time PhD student, part-time doctoral academic teacher at the Department of Psychology.

I completed my undergraduate at UCL with first class honours in BSc Human Sciences. I then went on to study Biomedical Sciences and Translational Medicine (MRes) at the University of Liverpool. Within the MRes course I took the Neuroscience strand, and graduated with distinction.

Throughout the course I developed an interest in various neuroimaging techniques, many of which I will be utilising during my PhD project. My current research is centred around the role of the right hemisphere in semantic processes.

As a doctoral academic teacher, I act as an academic advisor to first and second year psychology undergraduate students, as well as teach research methods and statistics.
