Personal Statement

A previous UoL student many years ago, I now have the pleasure to teach future students in order to prepare them for Occupational Therapy practice. As a clinical skills lecturer I have an interest in using simulation to support learning outcomes and seeking out evidenced-based methods to enable our students to achieve excellent clinical skills. I continue to practice as a senior OT in an NHS neuro therapy team, this dual professionalism drives my teaching and continuing professional development, which serves to enhance student experiences.
