What do we do with your personal information?

The AKN will use the details you provide on this form or through the commissioned grants application process to either confirm your desire to be added to the mailing list, add your project to our network database or to confirm your interest in application for our commissioned grants programmes. Projects will only be added to the database once funding has been confirmed unless otherwise requested by the applicant through our mailinglist query form. 

What is the purpose and legal basis of the processing?

The AKN will process the personal information provided on your application and the other information referred to above for the purposes of identifying you, processing your application, adding you to the mailing list and/or putting your project details on the database. This data will also be used to register you for access to the relevant reporting systems as needed is an aplicant on a funded project.

Who might we share it with?

If you sign up to be added to our database or this will be made available on our website and be shared with the University of Nottingham to be shared on their website. The purpose being to create a network of institutions and individuals who would like to make themselves known in order to build working relationships. We will share your personal information for the above purposes as relevant and necessary with:

- the Management Group and Panel Members.

- Arts & Humanities Research Council as required by the programme.

How is my personal information used?

Your data will be used in a number of ways depending on your initial contact with the programme:

- To be added to the mailing list. If you desire to be removed from the mailing list please email akn@liverpool.ac.uk to inform us and we will process that request directly.

- add details of similar project work you have done which you would like to have added to our database.

-Your data will be used to inform you of the outcome of your application and to send you programme updates. If successful this data will be used as your contact information for the duration of the contract. If unsuccessful your application will be anonymised and retained for audit purposes until the 2027.

-If funded details of your project and details of the main applicant will be made public. Prior to funding being confirmed applications and applicant details will remain anonymous to everyone except select members of the Managment Group.

How can I access my personal information?

How long is my information kept?

The Antislavery Knowledge Network is a 4 year AHRC funded programme. Your data will only be required until the end of the programme. We will be in touch and allow for you to change your communication preferences if anything changes beyond that date.
