Undergraduate
Undergraduate students are required to register for 120 credits in Year 1, normally 60 credits in each semester. Most programmes have some compulsory modules, for which you will be automatically registered, but you may – depending on your programme of study – need to choose optional modules from a specified list to make up the 120 credits, and register for those on Liverpool Life. Registration will open one month before your programme start date. You will be contacted about this in due course. You are strongly advised to complete the registration process before you arrive. However, staff will be on hand to provide advice and guidance on choosing any optional modules should you need help.

Students on four-year programmes with Year in Industry will register for the same Year 1 modules as those taking the programme without Year in Industry.

Postgraduate Taught
Postgraduate students are required to register for 180 credits, 60 of which will normally be your thesis/dissertation. If you programme has compulsory modules, you should be automatically registered for these, but you will need to register for any optional modules on Liverpool Life.
Registration opens one month before your programme start date and you will be contacted about this in due course. However, staff will be on hand to provide advice and guidance on choosing any optional modules should you need help.
