Alongside making sure I got the best grades I could in my course, I spent a lot of time looking for placement opportunities so that I could try out all the different kinds of career options.This in turn helped me to network and meet new people to further my career.

What do you enjoy?

I enjoy the freedom that comes with it.I get to define my own ours,manage my own project, and implement my own ideas, which is cool. Researching something that's so interesting to me is a massive part of why I love the job and all the opportunities that come with it.

Advice to Students

You need to make sure that you have a passion for what you're looking to research and that you're gaining knowledge to be able to do that research. Get some experience within the area you want to look at, as that will tell you whether or not you want to do that and if you're capable of doing that.
