    Research Overview

There are three inter-related themes within Dr Nair's current research:

Theme 1: Investigating Innovation as 'Process'
The goal here is to develop a process philosophy inspired understanding of innovation management - "the invention, development and commercialization of new ideas with an organizational context." Here I'm interested in investigating how innovations are brought into being in practice.

    Theme 2: Digital Disruption
The goal of this project is to explore 'what' digital disruption means for firms embedded within different industries and to develop an enriched understanding of how digital disruption unfolds within these firms.

    Theme 3: Strategy-in-Practices
The goal is to theoretically integrate the 'process' and 'practice' perspectives on strategy to explore and theorize how do strategies emerge from practices?

Overall, most of my research focusses on developing "process theories" within organization and management research.
