Who can book this accommodation?
Accommodation at Philharmonic Court is available to University of Liverpool graduating students and their invited guests. Proof of graduation booking or student ID may be requested at check‑in.
What type of rooms are available?
All rooms are en‑suite double rooms, offered on a room‑only basis. Multi‑night stays are not available.
Are children allowed to stay?
Yes. Guests aged under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over, who will be responsible for their supervision at all times. Child‑specific facilities such as cots or highchairs are not provided.
Are accessible rooms available?
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate accessibility requirements; however, accessible rooms cannot be guaranteed. Facilities are not fully accessible and do not include automated door systems or hoists.
What is included in the room?
Each en‑suite room includes bed linen and towels, along with access to shared kitchen facilities, including tea and coffee, for preparing hot drinks.
Is parking available?
Parking information will be available on the University’s graduation parking webpage and in the booking confirmation email.
How do I check in?
Full check‑in information, including reception location and key collection arrangements, will be provided in your booking confirmation email.
Can I request rooms close together for a group or family?
We will try to allocate adjacent rooms for larger groups where possible, but this cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability.
Can I cancel my booking?
Bookings cancelled more than one month before arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within one month of arrival, or no‑shows, are non‑refundable.
Can I change the name on my booking?
Name changes may be permitted up to 72 hours before arrival. Date changes are not permitted.
Are there any behaviour or safety requirements?
Yes. Guests must follow all University safety and behaviour requirements. Smoking (including e‑cigarettes), candles and open flames are not permitted. Quiet hours apply between 11pm and 8am.
Is breakfast provided?
No breakfast or catering is provided at the accommodation.
However, campus cafés, bars and the food court will be open during graduation week.
What should I bring with me?
You may wish to bring personal toiletries, accessibility aids or equipment, and any items needed for your comfort or for attending graduation.
