Personal Statement

After completing PhD (Inorganic Materials), and being a postdoc at the Universities of Bristol, Cambridge and Sheffield, I moved to the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) in 2007, returning to become a Senior Lecturer in Nuclear Materials in 2012 at the University of Sheffield. In 2015 I moved to Liverpool with interests in zero carbon and nuclear energy, primarily new materials for nuclear and other low/zero carbon energy, decommissioning of nuclear facilities and the development of hydrogen as a viable energy source/vector.
