Collaborating with industry

The department has strong, mutually beneficial relationships with leading organisations in many sectors of industry and business with who we collaborate for teaching and research.

We have an industrial advisory board, made up of representatives from a wide variety of both small and large companies that provide strategic advice on issues such as research, curriculum development, teaching methods, outreach, and collaboration.

The board discuss issues related to the department and their programmes such as course content and final year projects, the board then gives feedback on the quality and industrial relevance. The department then utilises this information to inform best practices and make changes if needed for the following year.

Industry partners support our teaching programmes
