When you think about money, what springs to mind? Maybe the cash in your wallet or apps on your phone. Or perhaps pensions or loans.

Sociologist Mark Davis (University of Leeds) argues we need to think differently about our money if we’re going to solve the climate crisis.
In this conversation and Q&A, you’re invited to reject the literal and rethink money as a system of trust that should reflect our values. Mark will talk about his work co-creating local climate bonds – a type of community investment – and his aim to put people first in the move to make our homes more energy efficient.
Rather than focus on the costs and technical challenges, we’ll explore whether rethinking how we invest our cash is key to decarbonisation. Join Mark to find out how social scientists can lead the way on climate action.
