Fancy visiting a new part of Merseyside? Join us as we walk across the seabed to explore Hilbre Island - a must-visit trip to a site of special scientific interest.
We'll catch the train from Liverpool Central to West Kirby, and from there, we'll head down to West Kirby beach to start our walk to Hilbre Island. The walk to the island takes roughly one hour.
A waterproof coat and wellies or boots are essential as you’ll be walking through the water and the weather can be unpredictable. You'll also need to bring food and water, as there is no opportunity to buy any on the island.
