The result of the research is expected to explain the government planning initiatives on social-economic aspects of Indigenous people, describing the socio-economic impact on Indigenous communities; identifying the challenges preventing the participation of Indigenous communities in the planning and implementation; providing actionable strategies for integrating the principles of equity, sustainability, and inclusivity into the development of Nusantara, ensuring that Indigenous are not marginalised; and explore the role of legal and policy frameworks in safeguarding Indigenous land rights and ensuring fair compensation in the context of the Nusantara project.
