Clients

Liverpool Law Clinic provides free and confidential legal advice to members of the public. We provide legal advice for family, special educational needs and certain types of immigration cases.

Advice is provided by our solicitors, assisted by law students from the University of Liverpool Law Clinic. Our students have been trained in confidentiality and have signed our confidentiality agreement before participating in any client work.

All advice will be given by our solicitors. The scope of our services means that students are unable to provide legal advice on the day of the appointment.

Our appointments take place in a purpose-built Clinic and we can offer online appointments for those unable to reach us.

We are not accepting new enquiries at the moment. Family law enquiries and enquiries concerning children with special educational needs (SEN) will reopen in September 2025. Immigration and nationality advice enquiries will reopen once we have capacity.

Community Care Advice Service

Our colleagues in the wider School are working with Access Care to offer a new, free community care advice service to all Liverpool residents. Visit the Community Care Advice Service web page to find out more.
