SAHPN Students Shine at UKIO 2025

Students from the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing played a key role at this year’s UK Imaging and Oncology Congress (UKIO), held from 2–4 June at ACC Liverpool.

As the UK’s leading event in imaging and oncology, UKIO brought together professionals, academics, and students from across the country to share ideas and shape the future of healthcare. This year’s theme, Community & Consciousness: One Health, focused on sustainability and collaboration.

SAHPN students contributed to the event through by making presentations and displaying posters. Their involvement reflected the strength of their professional and scholarly development and emphasised the School’s commitment to continuous engagement with real-world professional communities. This year's conference offered a packed programme of clinical sessions, hands-on learning, and research opportunities, including a new Radiotherapy Hub and dedicated content for students and early-career professionals

The event not only highlighted national developments in the field, but also gave students a platform to be seen and heard as the next generation of healthcare leaders.
