The code of practice sets out the structure and assessment of taught undergraduate and modular postgraduate degrees and awards. It defines the conventions for qualification descriptors and for the classification of degrees and awards.

The code of practice contains the policies and procedures which relate to research students, to supervisors of research students and to examiners of doctoral awards.
