Get ready for Sustainability Week

The University’s first ever Sustainability Week is fast approaching, taking place from 20th – 28th February, with a full calendar of exciting and informative events and opportunities for staff and students to get involved in.
As part of the Feel Good February initiative and in collaboration with the Guild of Students, Sustainability Week kicks off with the Sustainability Fair in Mountford Hall on Monday 20 February, 10:00 – 16:00, showcasing a range of stalls hosted by teams such as the Environmental Sustainability Team, Student Sustainability Network, Sowing the Seeds of Sustainability, Hedgehog Friendly Campus, student societies, as well as local organisations such as Liverpool Food Growers Network, The Fermentation Station, Compost Works, Liverpool Friends of the Earth, plus many more.
Throughout Sustainability Week you will be able to explore a range of activities and events including; Seed Bomb Making, Writing Nature Workshop, Big Pub Quiz, Guided Tours of the Spine Building, Energy Centre, MIF and our LEAF accredited labs, David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet Film Screening, Net Zero, Challenges and Solutions Lecture, Creative Plastics Recycling Workshop with Plastic Tactics, Leave Liverpool Tidy Litterpick, 2030 SDGs Game Workshop, Commercialisation & Sustainability Talk, Clothing Swap Shop, Gardening with the Guild, 'Tent Talks' with Guild Sustainability Champion Hana Sanadi, Climate Justice Art Crafternoon, Circular Economy Club, Cheshire Falconry Display, Cycle Event with Peloton and Halfords, Carbon Conscious Food Stall, Climate Action 101, Nature Walk, Zero Waste Sauerkraut Making with the Fermentation Station, Enhancing Education for Sustainable Development Staff Workshop, Plant Pot Painting and Herb Planting and much more!
