Foundation programmes

If you do not meet the standard entry requirements for a degree, you may be able to gain entry by completing a Foundation element.

Foundation to Health and Veterinary Studies

The Year 0 Foundation Programme acts as a pathway to degrees in the Health Sciences and is offered in collaboration with Birkenhead Sixth Form College, Birkenhead or Carmel College, St Helens.

This course is designed for learners with appropriate workplace experience or vocational rather than A level qualifications. More detailed information is available on the Foundation to Health and Veterinary Studies (Year 0) course page.

Go Higher

For adult learners with few or no formal qualifications, the University offers a one year, part-time, fast-track foundation course. More information is available on Go Higher website.
