Living in Liverpool

The city of Liverpool is home to over 50,000 students, so your child will quickly fit in and feel at home.

Liverpool is a very accessible city. From wherever you are in the UK, it's easy to reach. For example, it's just over two hours from London by train. There are also daily flights from Belfast to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Once you're here, it's incredibly easy to get around. The city centre itself is compact and walkable. Our campus is all on one site and just a quick 10 minute walk from the centre. There are plenty of buses serving the main student accommodation areas, including the 699 bus which runs from the heart of campus to Greenbank Student Village. There are cycle routes between the campus and popular student living areas.

Alongside the vibrant student community, Liverpool is home to:

  • A range of theatres
  • Two world-famous football teams
  • Countless music venues
  • Fantastic shops, restaurants and bars
  • Beautiful beaches and green spaces.
