    Research Overview

I am a member of the Nuclear Physics research group where I lead the development of high-resolution germanium semiconductor detectors for nuclear structure physics and applications of societal benefit. My research strategy is to develop the key instrumentation and analysis techniques needed to realise the core blue sky nuclear science programme. This development work (driven by the AGATA project) has established a world leading capability to design, build and characterise gamma-ray sensors.
