About

I joined the RETURN team in April 2021 as the trial manager, prior to this I was working as a Research Officer at St Paul's Eye Hospital within the Royal Liverpool Hospital.

I completed my Biological Sciences Undergraduate and MRes in Biosciences and translational medicine at the University of Liverpool. Since then, I have worked in various research technician and research practioner roles within the University and hospitals in Merseyside and Manchester. I have been lucky enough to work in a wide range of areas including Women's health, Respiratory medicine, Biobanking, Rheumatology and Ophthalmology.

My career has led me to the NIHR funded RETURN project, which aims to improve the uptake of regular dental care in those who only use emergency dental services. I have found this project and working on socioeconomic inequalities really rewarding.
