Mireia's work examines the interactions between healthcare and distinct regulatory frameworks, with a particular focus on health and criminal law. She is keen on historical and theoretical approaches while pursuing impactful and stakeholder engaged research, and my analytical perspectives are interdisciplinary, nurtured by feminist, critical and post-colonial scholarship.
She has written several outputs examining how healthcare and legal actors goven the body in leading legal and non-legal journals, including Social & Legal Studies and The Lancet, and in renowned
media outlets, like the London Review of Books.
