Research
I am currently an NIHR and Alzheimer's Society funded Post Doctoral Research fellow with a focus on dementia research, health inequalities and public health. My research, alongside Dr Clarissa Giebel, Dr Dalia Tsimpida and Professor Chris Plack, focuses on exploring the relationship between hearing loss and atypical types of dementia, specifically Parkinson's Dementia and Dementia with Lewy Bodies. I am a member of the Liverpool Dementia & Ageing Research Forum which brings together brings together professionals and lived experts to advance our understanding of improving care for dementia and ageing . I am also a member of the Centre for Ageing Research which aims to promote and conduct high-quality interdisciplinary research concerning ageing throughout Lancaster University.
