About

I graduated with a degree in Medicine in 2015, followed by a Master’s in Research in Musculoskeletal Ageing at the University of Liverpool. I then completed a PhD in Musculoskeletal Biology at the University of Liverpool, where my research focused on the ontogeny of the semicircular canals across a range of mammalian species, combining developmental and comparative anatomical approaches.

Since 2023, I have been a Lecturer in Anatomy at the Human Anatomy Resource Centre (HARC), where I contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. My research interests lie in developmental and comparative anatomy, with a particular focus on evolutionary morphology and the functional implications of anatomical variation.

I am passionate about fostering a deep understanding of human anatomy through innovative and student-centred teaching. I also contribute to curriculum development and the integration of research-led teaching practices.

Current roles include:
- Programme Deputy Director, PGCert Clinical Anatomy with Education
- Module Coordinator, HARC703
- Person Designate, Human Tissue Authority Licence 12022
- Course Lead for Anatomy
