About
The Placement Office’s role within the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing is to help allocate students to placements within NHS Trusts and Private, Independent & Voluntary Organisations (PIVOs) across the UK, primarily in the North West and the Republic of Ireland. The Placement Office also help set up and monitor the e-portfolios and evaluations attached to each placement. The Office is the point of contact for the mentors, practice placement facilitators (PEFs) and supervisors who are training our students out on placement.
Laura has specific responsibility in the School for:
• Administration of the placements for the Nursing Programmes
• Administrative support for the Online PARE and InPlace E-Portfolio systems
• Administrative support for the Practice Placements Expenses
