About

I am a health geographer and data scientist with a PhD in human geography from Newcastle University, awarded in 2021. My doctoral research was funded through the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Research Excellence Academy Studentship and the Newcastle University Overseas Research Studentship (NUORS). Prior to this, I completed a distinction-level MSc in Geographical Information Systems at the University of Leeds. These academic milestones have equipped me with advanced skills in spatial analysis, statistical modelling, and computational health geography, all of which underpin my evolving academic career.
My substantive research interest is determinants of and inequalities in health. This includes considerations of need for, access to and utilisation of healthcare services.
