Postgate Scholarship for Postgraduate Study in Classics and Ancient History

The Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology is pleased to invite applications for one scholarship to support one Master’s-level student in Classics and Ancient History.

Amount

The successful candidates will receive a one-off fee reduction of £4,000. 

Open to

The competition is open to all students who have applied for the Classics and Ancient History MA programme for the forthcoming academic year. 

This scholarship is intended to fund a student who does not yet possess a postgraduate qualification (MA/MRes/MSc, PhD or equivalent).

You must have been assessed for fee status as a ‘home’ student, or expect to be assessed as a ‘home student’.

You should not be in possession of any other bursary, award or scholarship awarded by the University of Liverpool. This excludes the Postgraduate Progression Award, which is an automatic fee reduction for students who have completed previous undergraduate study at the University of Liverpool and can be combined with this scholarship.

    3. Why you should be considered for funding support
  4. Indicate if you are applying for any other UoL bursary, awards or scholarships.
