Personal Statement

Chris is a lecturer in School of Medicine at the University of Liverpool. He has a background in psychology and prior to his current role worked as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Chris is the academic lead for MBChB (medics) and BDS (dentists) Year 1 Communication for Clinical Practice 'modules'. He is also deputy lead for the MBChB Year 3 Psychology and Sociology applied to Medicine module. In addition to his teaching commitments, Chris is also completing a part-time PhD investigating the psychological processes in test anxiety.
