Miss Rosa Ana Puentes Garrido

Personal Statement

I graduated from the University of Cordoba in Spain in 2016, and after completing a large animal internship at the University of Santiago de Compostela I worked as a farm vet in the South of Spain until 2019.

After this, I moved to the UK to expand my farm knowledge as well as my English, and worked as a farm/mixed practitioner in the East of England until 2021 when I joined to the University of Liverpool as a resident.

I am currently working towards my European Diploma in Bovine Health and Management, and enjoy all aspects of farm animal medicine with particular interest in mastitis, surgery and youngstock. Outside work, you might find me climbing, hanging out with friends or planning my next trip to visit my family.
