Personal Statement
Dr Blackburn graduated from the University of Warwick in Modern History, and holds a doctorate from the University of London. She taught at the University College of Swansea and the Manchester School of Management, UMIST, before taking up her appointment as a lecturer in modern social history at the University of Liverpool in 1989.
