Welcome to the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures: The Essentials
Transitioning to university can be both challenging and exciting. This session will cover essential resources and expectations for students, beginning with a welcome talk from the Dean of School and an introduction to key staff. You'll learn about student support, the student voice, careers, and employability opportunities, as well as managing time effectively, taking ownership of your work, and understanding available support. This session is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools for a smooth and successful transition to university life.
This session is for new Irish Studies, LCF and Politics undergraduate students, and Education and LCF postgraduate students studying a programme within the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures.

This session will provide a welcome from the Vice Chancellor and Director of Student Experience here at the University of Liverpool. Hear about the different things you can get involved in during your time here, and the services available to you across the University.

This session is for all new students studying the MA in Education. It will provide an overview of the programme, details of the core and optional modules and explore the key things you need to know at the start of your studies. You will also have an opportunity to meet some of the module delivery team.
