Virtual Teaching Collections

This page features digital handling collections specifically created and curated for teaching in the University of Liverpool’s Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology (ACE).

The Garstang Museum provides a central role in the currciculum and teaching of a number of modules in ACE and in response to the Covid-19 crisis the museum and the Photogrammetry Team have made extensive efforts to move key teaching objects and materials online.

Our work with the ACE Photogrammetry Team in the production of digital handling collections is driving virtual innovations in teaching, both now in the immediate response to Covid-19 but also for the future as we move into a more digital world.
