    Personal Statement

    Gillian (Jill) Rudd has teaching and research interests in Medieval English literature and ecocriticism, on which she has published several books, chapters and articles, and also children's literature, on which she has published less. She also teaches on the women's writing module (mainly C19th and C20th) and close reading module. She is currently on the advisory board for two environmentally oriented journals, Green Letters (the journal of the Association for the Study of Literature and the Environment in UK and Ireland) and Medieval Ecocriticisms and also for Boydell and Brewer's Medieval and Environment series.
