Through Open Languages, the University of Liverpool's institution-wide language programme, you can learn Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish.

Open Languages includes beginners courses in all languages and intermediate and advanced courses in Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

If you'd prefer to dive into a language from the ancient world, you can learn key basic elements of Ancient Greek, discover Latin vocabulary and grammar, or unravel the mysteries of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.
