Personal Statement
As an educational developer, my work centres around curriculum enhancement. I support processes such as Periodic Review, new module/programme development, and TESTA, and contribute to faculty or UoL task and finish groups as requested. I also support educational innovation and best practice through research and dissemination via our communities of practice, case studies, workshops, and guidance material. I have a PGCert in Online and Distance Education (Open), and have worked in HE for over 17 years in a variety of teaching and learning posts (academic, student development, curriculum development, employability, eLearning). I am passionate about how we teach and how we learn, and am always looking for new ways to improve the teaching and learning experience for staff and students. I previously worked for: Bangor University, Cardiff University, the University of the West of England, Edge Hill University, and the University of Manchester.
