Biological Sciences BSc (Hons)

This pathway will teach you the core concepts of biology, as well as the fundamental principles of immunity, infection, and therapy. You'll study how organisms develop and function and learn about ecology and the global environment. You'll develop practical skills and participate in field studies, learning how to utilise quantitative skills and study techniques.

We offer a progressive series of laboratory and lecture modules that cover a wide range of topics related to biological sciences. So, you’ll be able to select modules that align with your unique interests.

Across both years, there are options to choose laboratory practicals. You’ll have the invaluable opportunity to see what real scientific research is like by working alongside staff who are international authorities in their fields.
