Marine Biology programmes
Our Marine Biology division is internationally known for its research and teaching, combining cutting-edge theory with a strong focus on applied, real-world issues such as marine conservation and climate change.
Students are involved in our research activity from the very start, undertaking group and individual projects. Fieldwork and practical sessions are another major feature of our courses.
We work with other institutes, industry and government agencies around the world, including the National Oceanography Centre situated on the University campus. Our graduates are highly sought after and our alumni include the current Director of the British Antarctic Survey.
Ecology and Marine Biology
Studying Ecology and Marine Biology at the University of Liverpool offered a dynamic mix of fieldwork, research, and expert-led teaching focused on understanding our changing environment.
