National Student Survey (NSS) Action Planning

NSS results published in the summer 2025 should be reviewed and analysed to inform the development of action plans to address areas which the student feedback has told us requires improvement. Below are links to guidance on the process, a template for the action plans, and a template for Faculties summarising the action plans in their area. Faculty summary reports should be submitted the University Academic Quality and Standards Committee (AQSC) by 5 November 2025.

Annual Subject Action Planning (ASAP) 2025/26 for provision in 2024/25

The guidance, templates and supporting documents for the 2025/26 ASAP process can be accessed below.

New data for this year is provided in the form of summaries of external data for departments and subject areas covering NSS data, OfS B3 student outcomes data, and Graduate Outcomes Survey metrics; they can be found here. The data sets and those relating to the University’s Access Participation Plan targets are available from your Faculty Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) and the Head of Education and Student Experience.
