Applying online

Applications for our master's courses are made using our online application system.

To start an online application for a master's, or to continue an application you have already begun, go to the University of Liverpool Application Portal.

Our online application system will guide you through the process. Further information about how to apply can also be found on individual course pages.

Current students at the University of Liverpool who wish to apply for postgraduate taught study can do so through the Progress to Postgraduate application form on Liverpool Life.

Courses starting in September 2026 

Application deadlines for courses starting in September 2026:

  • International deadline: 21 August 2026
  • UK and Republic of Ireland deadline: 11 September 2026.

Deposit deadlines

Courses starting in September 2026

The deadline for paying your tuition fee deposit for all master's courses starting in September 2026 is Friday 4 September 2026. 

Courses starting in January 2026

The deadline for paying your tuition fee deposit for all master's courses starting in January 2026 is Friday 9 January 2026. 

Start dates

Courses starting in September 2026

Start dates for courses starting in September 2026:

  • UK and international deadline: 28 September 2026 (latest start date: 26 October 2026).

Courses starting in January 2026

Start dates for courses starting in January 2026:

  • UK and international deadline: 26 January 2026 (latest start date: 16 February 2026).
