Personal Statement

The Placement Office’s role within the School of Allied Health Professions & Nursing is to help allocate students to placements within NHS Trusts and Private, Independent & Voluntary Organisations (PIVOs) across the UK - primarily in the North West and the Republic of Ireland - and also help set up and monitor the e-portfolios and evaluations attached to each placement. The Office is the point of contact for the mentors, Practice Education Facilitators (PEFs) and supervisors who are training our students out on placement.

Rachel has specific responsibility in the School for:
• Administration of placements for the Nursing programme
• Administrative support for the InPlace allocation system
• Administrative support for the Online PARE E-Portfolio
• Administrative support for the Practice Placement Expenses.

Rachel is a member of the Practice Placement Working Group.

Outside of the School, Rachel is a member of the Cheshire & Merseyside (C&M) Joint HEI Admin Group and the C&M PARE Working Group.
