About

I am a Lecturer in Physiotherapy, primarily teaching in the areas of Cardio-respiratory physiotherapy. My clinical background is varied, I spent seven years in working in critical care and more recently specialised in frailty, hospital discharge planning and trying to support older people to remain in their own homes. My research interests are varied and include considerations of risk by physiotherapists involved in discharge planning and conversations with people and their families about death and dying. I am currently working towards a PhD in which I am exploring the lived experiences of divorced UK Christians.
