Summary
External Examiner Roles: I am an external examiner for the masters programme in nanoscience at UCLAN. This appointment directly relates to my excellent standing in teaching matters. I have also on the scientific advisory board at UCLAN. I am also an external examiner for the Mathematics and Physics department at Lincoln University.
Chair of Steering group for joint degree in Physics with LJMU: I have an important role as chair of the joint Physics degree steering committee with Liverpool John Moores University.
Visiting Professor at Florida Atlantic University: I have been a visiting professor at the department of oceanography at FAU, and have collaborated in research in incorporating nanomaterials for nanocomposites used, among many disciplines, in body armour.
