Prajith Venkatasubramanian is a Science Communication and Engagement Specialist at the University of Liverpool. His work centres on long-acting drug delivery systems and therapeutics, with a focus on stakeholder engagement through conferences, research collaborations, and evidence-based communication. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and an MSc in Pharmacology and Drug Discovery (Distinction), with expertise spanning pharmacology, clinical research, and regulatory science.

At Liverpool, he coordinates engagement initiatives, works closely with Key Opinion Leaders, and contributes to global efforts supporting long-acting product development initiatives, including the LAPaL database. As part of the communications core, his role also involves developing and delivering slide deck presentations to external stakeholders and at scientific conferences. He serves as a professional-level scientific writer, contributing to peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and scientific databases. Further, He is a member of Community of Practice (CoP) for long-acting therapeutics in maternal and paediatric health, and Centre of Excellence for Long-Acting Therapeutics (CELT).

Prajith holds certifications in Clinical Trial Coordination, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and ICH-GCP E6 (R3) and E8 (R1). His research interests include long-acting drug delivery systems, regulatory compliance, and the role of science communication in promoting equitable access to therapeutics worldwide.
