Alex Howard is a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Antimicrobial Resistance and Honorary Consultant in Medical Microbiology at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Howard qualified in Medicine and Surgery in 2011, before undertaking specialist training in clinical microbiology. He has a research interest in the application of artificial intelligence to global antimicrobial decision-making and resistance, and clinical interests in immunocompromised infection, antimicrobial resistance, and medical mycology.
