Health, Cultures and Societies Bursary

The School of Histories, Languages and Cultures is pleased to invite applications for one bursary to support one Master’s-level MA in Health, Cultures and Societies.

Amount

The successful candidate will receive a one-off fee reduction of £5,000.

Open to

The competition is open to all students who have applied for the Health, Cultures and Societies MA programme by the listed deadline and commence study in the 2024/25 academic year. You must have been assessed for fee status as a ‘home’ student, or expect to be assessed as a ‘home student’.

This bursary is intended to fund a student who does not yet possess a postgraduate qualification (MA/MRes/MSc, PhD or equivalent).

You should not be in possession of any other bursary, award or scholarship awarded by the University of Liverpool. This excludes the Postgraduate Progression Award, which is an automatic fee reduction for students who have completed previous undergraduate study at the University of Liverpool and can be combined with this scholarship.

    1. Your reasons for choosing the programme
    2. How the programme will help you achieve future career plans
    3. Why you should be considered for funding support
  4. Indicate if you are applying for any other UoL bursary, awards or scholarships. The School of Histories, Languages and Cultures is committed to delivering reparative actions to address barriers to representation across all academia.
