What does the funding support look like?
- Training Grant - a non-repayable payment of £5,000 per academic year to eligible students. An additional payment of £1,000 per academic year is available for students in certain subject specialisms.
- Parental support - additional support for eligible students who have parental responsibility for a child under the age of 15 (or under 17 if the child has special educational needs).
- Travel and Dual Accommodation Expenses (TDAE) - receive funding towards some of your travel expenses and any temporary accommodation requirements, if applicable, when attending placements.
- Exceptional Support Fund (ESF) - up to a further £3,000 per academic year may be available if you find yourself experiencing unforeseen financial hardship.
